Original to the property, however upgraded with an Ecosmart bioenthanol flame burner
Looks smaller than it is, it actually can seat 4 comfortably; opposite is a matching oversized chair (see first photo)
Teak table with chairs seats 6 guests
Dining Room View 2
As seen from the southern end of the house looking into the living room
Also included in the dining room is a buffet for storage; atop are cook books that may be relocated to the library. The buffet sits against a shared wall with the kitchen on the other side.
In the buffet, you'll find everything you need to entertain: cheese boards, dining plates, wine glasses, champagne flutes, serving plates, espresso cups, etc.
Beyond the dining room is open space; it is decorated with an antique Thai wedding chest and Persian rug
These homeowners love to cook; kitchen has chef's gas stove and convection oven, double door refrigerator and freezer with ice maker and filtered water dispenser, microwave, and toaster oven
American Range Stove
In the pantry you'll find a range of equipment: Cuisinart food processor; KitchenAid Stand Mixer; copper, steel, and stainless steel pots and pans
DeLonghi Magnifica grinds beans to order; makes delicious coffee, espresso, cappuccino ... whatever you like
As seen from the foyer, the staircase takes you to the second floor or walk straight ahead into the kitchen
Although there are three bedrooms upstairs, the owners only need one. The bedroom includes a comfortable, memory foam queen mattress, two side tables (each with two deep drawers), and a 6 (deep) drawer dress at the foot of the bed. To the left is a bench and table.
This room has a double door deep closet fitted with hardware to organize all of your belongings; metal baskets serve as additional drawers; there are shelves for storage; lots of hanging space for suits/shirts/skirts/dresses
At the foot of the bed is a dresser with 6 deep drawers; atop of the dresser is a television
En Suite Bathroom
Spacious bathroom off the bedroom
The shower is tiled and quite large; it also has a handheld shower faucet
There is a built-in bench for sitting/shaving and/or holding toiletries
This is a second bathroom with tub; it also features a handheld shower faucet
Looking Onto Den and Library
As seen from the top of the stairs (the master bedroom and second bath out of view). Off the hallway are two additional rooms: a den (left) and office/library (right).
The den is for relaxing; it has a comfortable couch for three to watch television or movies on a huge high-definition screen
Off the kitchen is a rear doorway with access to a secluded patio, which offers a Moroccan-tiled table with 6 chairs
Patio also comes with a gas grill
There is also ample space for lounging; not pictured are two chaises and an 8 ft umbrella for shade
Typical of this architecture and this neighborhood are front porches. This has two cushioned arm chairs, a cushioned love seat, and small table. In spring and summer, you'll see many of your neighbors sitting on their porches sipping cocktails and chatting with passers by.
We garden, but it's not a requisite for you. Sit on the porch and see what grows.
There are two rose bushes and an oak leaf hydrangea that will grow despite your best efforts
We love art. Here's a great example from local artist, Regina Miele. Another painting of hers is in the bedroom.
Last but not least: pets. Homeowners will consider dogs on a case-by-case basis. Cats cannot be accommodated due to allergies.
